Asian cuisine can be broadly divided into different categories according to the regional styles of cooking and the people and culture of these regions. Some of the major categories of Asian food in East Asia, South Asia, South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East. In common usage, however, Asian food (also known as Asian cuisine) consists mainly of South and Southeast Asian cuisine. The main countries of this region forms are India, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma, etc.

Chinese food is generally considered food in Asia, although China stretches across Central Asia to the Far East. Rice is the main staple food in most of China. In some areas, however, prefer rice noodles. Most foods are prepared by chopping or cooking, and cooked in a wok with little oil. Traditionally, there are eight main regional cuisines in China: Anhui, Cantonese, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan and Zhejiang. The three different regional cuisines are Shanghai - characterized by aromas of hot pepper and spicy cold Cantonese - associated with tasty meat and vegetable combinations, and Mandarin - in conjunction with noodles, steamed bread and dumplings.

Because Japan is an island, much of its food consists of fish-based ingredients. Rice and sliced, salted vegetables are the staples in Japanese cuisine. Soy products like soy sauce, soybean paste and tofu are also used in many preparations in Japan. Japanese food sushi, beef teriyaki sauce, meat lightly breaded and fried fish, but crustaceans called tempura. Japanese food is healthy, tasty and easy to cook. This is a low-fat, cholesterol, and known to reduce heart-related diseases.

While different parts of India are known for their different cultural backgrounds, they are also known for their different flavors and cuisines. Vegetarian meal includes Khakrez and dhokla in Gujarat, lowering Baati-choorma Rajasthan, Kashmir aloo dum-dosa and Kesari Bhat and South India. Non-vegetarian delights, especially the tandoori species have been specially developed for the Nawabs of India. Reshmi kebabs saffron and lime juice and garlic marinated fish tikka serve delicious appetizers with yogurt-marinated chicken Sheek Kebab. Tandoori food is the perfect testament to the rich cultural diversity of India and royalties.

Asian recipes were casually distributed to women in Asia, which usually met after a long day, the day's events to discuss. Thai food is a mixture of Chinese, Malay, Indian, Myanmar, Khmer, Laotian and to a lesser extent, Portuguese cuisines. It is a harmonious blend of native grasses. Malaysian cuisine consists of fish, seafood, vegetables and poultry, while beef is noticeably absent. It is usually spicier than Chinese cuisine. Indonesian cuisine is known for its unique blend of sweet and sour spices. Asian cuisine has enormous potential in the modern era, such as Asian food chains have mushroomed all over the world very quickly, and also enjoy immense popularity.
