2-1/4 cups Fresh lemon juice1-1/2 tbsp Grated lemon zest4-1/2 cups Simple syrupSimple Syrup:3 cups Sugar

6 cups Water

Instructions: Combine the ingredients and freeze in an ice cream maker. Alternatively, place in a bowl set within a larger bowl holding ice cubes and salted water. Beat the mixture with a portable mixer or wire whisk for several minutes until it begins to be thoroughly chilled. Cover and place in the freezer until frozen, stirring occasionally.

Simple Syrup: Place the sugar and water in a stainless steel or enameled saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Strain through a sieve lined with a damp cloth. Cool.

Cut carrots in half cross-wise, then cut length-wise, then cut length-wise again.Combine the carrot sticks, olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary and stir until they are evenly coated. Spread the carrots over the pan as much as possible.Bake your carrots for about 20 minutes or until carrots are tender. Serve them hot or cool them a bit to room temperature.

This is a family favorite and is easy on Mom and Dad in both the prep and the clean-up!

Put all the ingredients into a Crock Pot and cook on low for 8 hours. A half an hour prior to serving, pull out the chicken and shred. Put the chicken back into the soup and cook the remainder of the time (half an hour).

Serve with cheese, tortilla chips, avocado, and sour cream.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray.

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, drain and mix in your spaghetti sauce to the ground beef.

Spoon one-third of your spaghetti sauce mixture into the bottom of your prepared pan and then mix the remaining spaghetti sauce mixture with the cooked spaghetti. Pour into the prepared pan and then top with the shredded cheese.Bake for 25-35 minutes until brown and bubbly. Let baked spaghetti rest for about 10-15 minutes before serving. Serve with a healthy salad and garlic bread. Enjoy!

Cut boneless and skinless breasts in strips (dont make them too thin). On a plate, add salt, pepper and flour together. In a mixing bowl, mix egg with mustard and water. Get another plate and place bread crumbs. After these, dip the chicken strips with the first mixture, then the second and third. When the chicken strips are fully coated, you can now fry it on a pan with oil and butter. Wait until the chicken browns. Serve it with a mayo dip (add green onions and garlic with the mayo if desired) and there you have it!

Easy Chicken Barbeque

Marinate pieces of chicken with soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, pepper, garlic, salt and tomato ketchup for at least 30 minutes (if you have time, you can marinate it over night). Remember that the longer the time you marinate it, the more flavorful it will be. There are also barbeque sauces sold in the market which you can stick to for marinating. After marinating, you can now barbeque it or simply grill it. Make sure it is well cooked and tender.

Quick and Easy Chicken Parmesan

You just need these ingredients: skinless chicken breasts, tomato sauce, beaten eggs, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Flatten the chicken with a meat mallet or simply just with your bare hands to equalize the thickness of meat. Dip the chicken first with the egg and coat with the bread crumbs. Brown the chicken on a pan with butter over moderate heat. After browning, add the tomato sauce. Lower the heat and let it simmer covered for 10 minutes. Sprinkle cheeses and parsley and wait until the cheese melts.

Easy Chicken Recipe - Chicken Breast Tenders with Caramelized Onion Gravy

Making caramelized onions I am sure is a snap for working chefs. For home chefs, it may not be so easy, but if you are careful you can make delicious caramelized onions in your kitchen. Patience is the attribute you need most to succeed here. If you try to use a higher temperature to speed the process up, you will most likely burn the onions. A better way to increase speed is to cut the onions into very thin slices. You may need to experiment a little to optimize the cooking time. I use a black iron skillet, and it takes me about 20 minutes cooking time

After the onions have been caramelized, the chicken is cooked in the same pan. This will pick up the flavor from the onions and once they are caramelized, the milk will pick up all the flavors and put them in the gravy.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, sliced very thin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 chicken breast tenders (about 3 ounces)
3/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup all purpose flour

Instructions

1 - Mix the salt and pepper into the flour and spread the mixture out on a plate.
2 - Separate the onion into rings and dredge in the salt, pepper, and flour mixture.
Note: I find it easier to put the flour mixture in a plastic bowl, dump the onions in and shake until the onion rings are coated.
3 - Heat the skillet on high and add 2 tablespoons of the olive oil and spread evenly on the bottom.
4 - Add the onions all at once and immediately turn the heat down to medium or low medium.
5 Cook for about 20 minutes stirring about halfway through the time.
6 - The onions should be golden and caramelized. Remove and set aside.
7 - Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet, turn to high and cook the chicken tenders on both sides. (takes 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side.
8 - Turn the heat down to medium high and gradually add the milk with constant stirring.
9 - Continue to stir until the gravy thickens.
